Sofwave
Which areas can Sofwave™ target?
Sofwave™ in Singapore can be used to treat the whole face, neck and body. Its main strength is its proficiency at skin tightening and improving superficial facial lines and wrinkles.
How long does a Sofwave™ treatment take?
The length of Sofwave™ treatment in Singapore will depend on the treatment area and your individual treatment plan. A face procedure usually takes roughly 40 minutes, making it a perfect lunchtime procedure.
Are there any side effects?
Immediately post treatment, the skin may appear slightly red with limited swelling for up to a few hours post treatment – but there are no reported severe side effects.
Will there be any downtime involved?
With Sofwave™, there is little to no downtime. After treatment, you may apply makeup and resume most normal activities immediately without following any special post-treatment measures.
A minority may experience some mild swelling post-procedure, which typically resolves within a week.
How many sessions of Sofwave™ do I need?
You will be able to see visible results even after just one treatment. However, some cases, such as more severe laxity or acne scars, may require 2-3 sessions for optimal results.
How soon can I see results?
You may see results immediately after the first treatment. However, the collagen regeneration process can take up to 12 weeks, so you can expect continued improvement over the next three months following treatment.
Can I combine Sofwave™ with other procedures?
Yes, Sofwave™ can be safely performed with most other procedures, including Botox and filler injections even within the same session. This is because injectables often target deeper structures of the face. Additionally, since Sofwave™ does not affect the skin’s pigment, it can be combined with various laser procedures in the same session. Your doctor will help you tailor a holistic plan that best suits your needs.

Is Ultherapy Painful?
Once ultrasound energy is administered, you will feel small amounts of energy are deposited at specific depths underneath the skin, stimulating the collagen-building process. Comfort levels vary from person to person, but the sensation only lasts while the energy of the ultrasound is delivered.
Your comfort is important to us and we ensure this by using one or a combination of oral painkillers, numbing cream, targeted numbing injections, and cooling techniques.
How Is Ultherapy Different From Other Aesthetic Procedures?
Ultherapy is a non-invasive aesthetic procedure that uses intense ultrasound to promote the formation of new collagen deep below the surface of the skin. The production of new collagen takes time, so results become more obvious over two to three months, or even up to six months.
The treatment takes between 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the area being treated and there is minimal to no downtime afterwards. It is also uses ultrasound imaging that allows doctors to actually see the targeted tissue layers during treatment and to ensure that the energy is deposited precisely where it is most beneficial.
How long does it take to see visible results and how long does it last?
Results typically become noticeable two to three months after the procedure, as the collagen production process takes time. These visible effects can last for 12-18 months, depending on the individual’s collagen production. Future touch-up treatments can help maintain and better manage the aging process.
Are There Any Side Effects?
There may be a slight redness that usually resolves within a few hours of treatment. Some patients may have mild swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but they are mild and temporary in nature. If required, cold compress can be applied for 3-5min to alleviate the swelling. How Many Treatments Do I Need?
Most patients need only one treatment; however, some may benefit from more than one treatment depending on how much skin laxity they have and the body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and collagen-building process.
Follow-up Ultherapy treatments each year may help to maintain results.
Am I Too Young For Utherapy?
From our late twenties, our skin starts to lose collagen and elastin.
This also means most people start to look more saggy, especially for ladies and after childbirth. By starting treatments early, we start to bank in more collagen to the skin via skin tightening treatments.
Starting once you notice sagginess will go a long way in preventing and treating saggy skin.
RF ThermaLift FLX
What Can I Expect From RF ThermaLift FLX?
Depending on your skin condition, most patients see tighter skin, improved skin texture and tighter, firmer skin. Wrinkles are also smoothened, and delicate eyelid skin is strengthened for a more well-rested appearance.
After a RF ThermaLift FLX treatment, your skin may feel taut and smooth to the touch. Additional tightening and smoothing may occur over 3 to 6 months.
How Long Do The RF ThermaLift FLX Results Last?
RF ThermaLift FLX results can last up to two years. Results vary by the individual and lifestyle choices.
When Is It Too Early To Start RF ThermaLift FLX (Or Any Other Anti-Ageing Treatments)?
The saying that Prevention is Cure holds very true here. Anti-ageing treatments such as lasers and RF ThermaLift FLX should be can be used preventively before your skin loses all its collagen and elasticity.
Waiting till your skin becoming saggy and wrinkly means it will be a lot more difficult to treat and will involve a more financial and time investment. Results will also never be comparable if you start with preventive treatments. Starting early, on the other hand, means you’re able to maintain and keep your skin looking youthful for longer.
Is There Any Downtime With RF ThermaLift FLX?
Because it is non-invasive, downtime is minimised with RF ThermaLift FLX. You are free to return to daily activities immediately after treatment. Makeup can be applied immediately after the treatment session.
Some redness can be seen in patients after treatment, and generally disappears within several hours. Blisters, though rare, may appear after the procedure. Occasionally, mild swelling may be noticed after the treatment but resolves in two or three days.
As with all treatments, downtime varies by the individual.
Who's Suitable For RF ThermaLift FLX?
RF ThermaLift FLX is suitable for patients desiring a non-invasive method to improve their sagging or ageing skin. The procedure is suitable for all skin types, and for both men and women. As with all medical procedures, you should be sure to disclose all of your medical history and current habits such as smoking and use of blood-thinners, medications, birth control pills, or supplements.
Who's Unsuitable For RF ThermaLift FLX?
RF ThermaLift FLX may be unsuitable in the following circumstances:
- Patients with unrealistic expectations, such as those who seek to reverse skin ageing and return to their younger self
- Patients using a cardiac pacemaker or other active implants
- People that are hypersensitive to heat
- Overly sensitive skin conditions such as eczema
- Recent chemical peel or dermabrasion
- Pregnant women
Will I Become More Saggy If I Stop Doing RF ThermaLift FLX?
When you stop treatments, you will not look more saggy than before. In fact, you will look better than someone of the same age who has not done any treatments.
With age, gravity and cumulative UV exposure, our skin will certainly become more saggy. Making skin tightening treatments a routine will slow down the process of sagging.
So you will not suddenly look more saggy if you decide to stop. But you will look better than someone of your age who has neglected their skin in the time that you have done skin tightening treatments. This is because your skin would have more collagen and elastin due to the treatments.
